4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Today we got our seend potatoes: Arran Pilot, Catriona, Desiree, King Edwards, Golden Wonder, and Pink fir Apples. Plus we got shallot and onion sets - only 1 type of shallots, then white & red onions and giant onions. We started the seeds as well, sweetcorn & beetroot.

 

...and all that for a £20 garden voucher - a Christmas present we will enjoy all year.

Bargain! sounds like you are organised I got Pink Fir Apple potatoes too - apparently they are a sod to peel but I liked the name

Peel You just scrub them - This will be the 4th year we have had them, they are a really old variety. Although they are a salad potato as they are a main crop potato they store well over winter, we still have some left to eat from last year's crop.

That seems more logical I had no idea they would store well either, I assumed because they were a salad potato they wouldnt do well in storage

Me too, until I asked the nice many 3 years ago at the garden centre we get the seed potatoes from (30+ yrs experience with growing pots). Hubby just brought the last half sack of them up from the allotment shed yesterday.
