4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

so i have been to the wood merchant and bagged some off cuts to make a nest box to be situated at the other side of the run as i can see some squabbling chooks fighting for the space in the current nest box (now that i have extended my lot to 5 ). the box i am making is 3ft x 2ft.

 

they cut them to size for me and i have just spent an hour screwing the box together. so i, this evening shall be hammering in the wood (that they make boats with- sorry cant remember the name of it) for the outer and i have a plastic roofing to go on top (which has been laying in the garage for some time.)

 

so........so far the box has cost me £2.50.
