Mollystar
Hi All, Introductions of 3 new hens to my 4 hens & cockeral has distrupted things but luckly not to violent. The problem is the old girls wont let the newbies to the food & water, its as if they have banished the new girls to the cube I have tried leaving a hand full of food inside the cube but how long can they go without water? I will have to remove them soon if this continues Everytime a newbie comes out, it gets chased back inside
Groovychook
How many food & water stations do you have? Maybe the originals are feeling territorial of their food/ water and if you introduced some more, spaced around the run, they'd wouldn't be able to guard all of them... Best of luck! Mollystar
Thanks for the reply, I have two water feeders, one being the mega glug that these girls wont know how to use:( I will try & find a heavy bowl & add some more water. I grub feeder but I have been scatering sone pellets in the hope that if allowed out the girls can find some. Why do these things always crop up when I'm busy at work & already stressed
