I don't have an eglu though I mentioned it to dh at tea and got told "you have a sturdy well made wooden house" think he might have the hump as he made the house for me!!!

I have a wooden house to that me and my dad built...It is great and has removable flooring, removable nest box, slide out floor but its still not a cube!

 

Do love it though and it houses 6-8 hens for £120!!!!

 

 

Will chat to parents about chicken boarding thing tonight!

I rang Omlet this morning and they were very apologetic.

They have arranged for a to be dispatched by courier and it should be with us tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will arrive early enough for us to try and build it and still go to see some chickens before dark.............could be a busy day ahead!

 

Only 1 more sleep till the not sure how many sleeps till .

 

It's like Xmas for adults........

Annies got loads of stock at the moment so don't worry, nibleybirdfarm also as a few hundred hens available from this Saturday. Having said that I would be so fed up if I had to wait longer than we'd planned too.
