Egluntine and others recommended it (thank you) and it has 1) firmed up their poo 2) made the cube smell much better (ie not at all!) 3) encouraged the hens to eat far more pellets, which resulted in first egg today. hooray for bran ! You can set up a multi-mail, whereby they automatically send you an amount in a strong brown paper bag, once a month for six months (I think six for the price of five, but that may have been a special offer), which works out really well and saves having to remember to keep re-ordering (sorry Omlet ).
