4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Today we had a tiny egg, probably the size of a mini egg. Is this a normal thing that happens occasionally? It has a hard shell. We have recently had some softies, despite giving oyster shell.....etc..but are still getting 4/5 eggs a day and the shells are hard....to the point my husband was concerned wether we should give eggs to his elderly mother!

Not that unusual - have a look at the Small Egg Leader Board! Did you weigh it? You might qualify .

Thanks for that reassuring news.....15g laid by Mrs Jones or Pegasus.....! And they are biggish chickens...Miss Pepperpots.....

Oooh just saw this........We too had a teeny egg from a Pepperpot, which was just 14g, what a coincidence. Maybe the time of year for the PP's
