The girls needed snorkels this morning

Recommended Posts

Anyone else got a problem with flooding?

Went out this morning to open up the cube and had to wade across the garden as the water was nearly ankle deep. Their run is pretty much under water too so I had to put out lots of things for them to perch and walk on. Their run looks like something from an 'Its a Knockout' assault course with garden benches, ladders, plants and 'roosting' platforms for them to get to higher ground. Poor girls - I think they wish they'd been born ducks :roll: .

Thankfully the sun has come out this afternoon - well I think thankfully as this will now melt the remaining snow. The poor water table just can't cope - and I'm sure that there are other folks much worse than us.

Can't wait for the water to dry into mud and soggy bedding plus our bins haven't been emptied on Friday and aren't going to be emptied now until a week on Friday! Aaaaah!!!! :shameonu:

Sorry for your troubles, but won't the girls enjoy the extra bugs the mud and water bring about? Don't know about the UK, but in FL our bugs love to come out when it rains-- easier pickin' for the ladies!

No bugs here as its too cold its still well below zero even though the sun has finally come out. This is what made it so wet
