One_Box
Just interested to see what other forum members have paid for 20kg of Ex-batt pellets. Locally I paid £9.80 but had a £3 voucher which took the nett cost to £6.80 (obviously a one off price) We have all our girls on the new feed and even Nora and Dora are tucking in
pinkmagic
I wasn't aware you could get special ex batt pellets. Ours just have layers mash and I am gradually moving them on to layers pellets and also adding poultry booster to their water. Who makes these special pellets? One_Box
Hi pinkmagic, The new feed is made by Allen & Page in their Small Holder range, it is available in crumbs and pellets. If you go to the Allen and Page website and register they will send you an information pack and a £3 voucher to try it There are number of threads on the forum regarding this new feed which has been specially formulated for ex-batt hens. Alfred
Anyone know of a supplier in the cheshire area?
dancing cloud
I had to pay £11.69 for mine, but that's what comes of being at the end of a long supply chain - everyone puts their own mark-up on it . I asked my usual supplier (local pet shop) and they ordered it in specially. A&P sent me a voucher when I made enquiries about it, which was unexpected and very welcome . There's also a voucher in the latest BHWT newsletter. My little monsters don't really need it now, but I'm moving them to it gradually so they will be used to it when I get some more new ex-batts in March and they can all eat the same food.
