quickcluck
Hi guys... Ive heard that chick crumb is good to give when new feathers are appearing.... Can I just ask if I can get hold of some, do you give it instead of pellets, as a treat or should I make their afternoon porridge out of it???? Also do you use it just until the new feathers are grown? Ta K

quickcluck
Mine are older girls 10mths but are bald!!!! WE have found the problem and sorted it, so just waiting for new feathers to come... We give them fish at the weekends for extra protein, but didn't know if the Chick Crumb would help while they are growing new one..... Redwing
I am giving mine chick crumb for new feather growth as two aren't growing their feathers back at all quickly I managed to find somewhere that sells it by the scoop If you pm me your address I will pop some in the post so you can see if your girls at least like it before you invest! I mix mine up in to a porridge for them and am feeding it morning and evening at the moment, we are not getting many eggs though but it is at least giving them a chance to recover
