Guest Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 DH's parents have a newsagents' shop and they'd normally throw these away but they've been saving them for us and they've come in useful for various things, including chitting our potatoes! They're the tubs that the penny sweets come in from the cash and carry. They have lids aswell so you could use them to freeze all the soft fruits you're all growing! What a brilliant idea! there is a huge stack of those tubs in the cubby hole at church - they buy the sweeties in bulk for the kids clubs! I must offer to recycle them!
