Scottie
Am hoping to get 4 new girls fairly soon. Our local pet shop is about to stock hen houses, but when I phoned this morning, they're going to cost upwards of £250! Wow! I'm hoping I only need it for a few weeks for introductions to our existing 6, so would be happier going for a cheaper option. In other posts, rabbit hutches have been mentioned and I could probably get hold of a second hand one. So to the big question - any idea how big a rabbit hutch I would need to house 4 new hybrids? Thanks Sheila Edited February 22, 2009 by Guest
Cooks
there are some people on here that hire out their spare eglu's for intro's?? just a thought if you could find one in your area.
Scottie
Thanks for your reply. I don't think there's anyone in the Glasgow area that lends out spare Eglus, but anyway, I've come up with a solution! Other family members are limiting me to only 3 new girls, we have a tiny, unused shed in the garden and a Mark 1 Eglu run which OH thinks he can make fit. Off to measure up now and see what needs doing, then to email the poultry guy to place my order - how exciting! Sheila
