munchkin
Hi I've just being reading about prolapses - as Barbara experienced one for herself this weekend Is it possible that ZolcalD can prevent prolapses? If so would you use it daily? Thanks
Redwing
One of mine had a prolapse but as she was young and had only just started laying I must admit I have not made any changes to her diet or supplements as I put it down to simple bad luck
Egluntyne
Calcium supplements can go some way to making the eggs a little smaller as one of its functions is to increase the strength of the muscular contractions required to push the egg along the oviduct, causing it to move along quickly and not linger in one place, getting bigger. It is designed to help a bird over an incident such as this, egg binding, or fractures, as it is super soluble and quickly absorbed. I would give it for a few days to help her recover and then stop.
