craftyhunnypie Posted March 6, 2009 Share Posted March 6, 2009 I thought I would never see eggs again from Bounty my Magpie & Rolo one of my black rocks. They both went through terrible moults & I did think we might lose Bounty whilst we were on holiday. Well we got home & are amazed at how they are looking. All feathered up beautifully & for the first time in ages there were 3 eggs in the cube home for the elderley. Smartie the white leghorn has laid right through almost since the day we had her. They are all about 2 years old now. I'm so chuffed & they are big, strong shelled eggs. We've had them 2 days on the trot so far - maybe we will get some today too. Getting lots of eggs a day now.
