Guest
hi can anyone tell me how high from the ground to above the door opening on a cube. I am thinking of making a moveable run before my cube arrives. Also will the cube roof when it is opened be affected? I am thinking of making it in panels with slip rails so it is easy to either lift and dismantle(well thats the master plan.....& I will be building this myself without Diy OH especially as he still dont know many thanks indie
Egluntyne
If you are putting it on the outside of the run, then you will have to factor in the fact that the roof slides forward. I shall pop out later and measure up. It would be useful if you could say exactly what measurements you need.
Guest
Hi Thanks Yes I am going to put the run and butt it up to the cube door(where the chickens come out or just above) . The measurement from the ground up to mid way between top of cube door to roof. I wastn going to go right to top of cube as I cant remember if the roof slides forwards or not? The run is only going to be as wide as the cube. I want the option to move them around the garden, but I do have a concrete standing area too which i may get a permanent run eventually Hope thats clear..if u could measure this that would be really useful and do u think that this sounds ok...all the walk in runs are huge! thank you indie
Olly
The Cube roof slides forward so you can take the back off for cleaning. Too dark for me to go and measure now, but take a look here for Cube measurements.
