What's the difference between Ivomec & Eprinex for worming?

Recommended Posts

Hi ,

As it's getting warmer/Spring is coming, I'd like to both worm & protect my hens from mites , lice etc.

I've been reading up on the forum & want to try Ivomec Eprinex pour on as it seems to kill lots of things with one go but everywhere I've searched on the internet I can find EITHER Ivomec OR Eprinex but not one one pour on product called Ivomec Eprinex .

What's the difference ? Which is better ? There also seems to be varying advice on dosage , both amount & frequency.

Any one got any advice & hopefully a link to a website I can buy the right stuff ? I've read the sticky on worming but I think I'm being dense!

Thanks, Jenny

Probably not. I posted the link as it contained specific info about the drug. It is just called Eprinex in UK. I imagine that you will need to go to your vet as websites that sell it here tend to require a prescription or proof that you own cattle..

You can get **Xeno 200**, which is what I use, online without the need for a prescription and it is very much cheaper. **Not licensed for use on poultry in UK
