Guest
Interesting to read about the expert advice(no different to having children then) When I told our local chicken place that i was getting a cube and 2 he told me to cancel them.! What a cheek!! No reason given.. I could tell he was just playing on my novice inexperience but it has put me off going there again. As I am discovering there are plenty of local people who breed birds so am hoping to pick up from them. As Harry Enfield says "saw u coming"! indie
doodles
thanks ANH and Wild Mum for your advice. It's very early days yet BUT today I noticed that Clementine (baldest) has some new feathers peeping through on her sides - time will tell how they will progress. There were also 2 normal eggs in the nest box today. Wild Mum - I am further along the coast from you closer to Brighton. The vet practice I use advises me to take my chickens to their "exotic pets" expert and although he's helpful I feel he's not particularly a chicken expert. I will try and get hold of some limestone flour though and give that a go
