Margalot Posted March 16, 2009 Share Posted March 16, 2009 Wow, we have just come back from a weekend away and am happy to report chicks all fine Boy did they eat a lot though no corn in the afternoon = lots more pellet eating! I left them a whole cabbage hanging a pecka block, and plenty of water and they were fine. Mind you my very kind in laws came and let them free range in the day and did put them to bed for us, mind you they did also have the eggs!! I also just found out my neighbour next door but one is getting 4 hens on Weds! so will have to go check them out!
