Hello

 

One of my girls has laid about 6 eggs now with weirdy spotty bits on them. I'm a bit worried about what they are. Could they just be a 'design' fault?!

If I said they looked like a cluster of headlice eggs, only the same colour as egg shell, do you know what I mean? They scratch off no problem but they are weird!

 

Any advice is ALWAYS appreciated

They are just trying to outdo other hens on the forum with strange eggs. I get the occasional little raised pimple I think its just a bit of sediment from the track.

I get bumpy eggs every now and again, just like the one at the bottom of these pictures. But then my hybrids are getting on a bit at 2 years old and they do lay some wierd ones.
