So I was wondering how many chicken films, chickens IN films, chickens in ads are there sneakily hiding away...

To start off...

Simplybe has woman cavorting about a farm in lovely clothes..and voila.. there are chickens!!!

Dolmio albeit these are pretend chickens, but chickens in situ...

I like the cornflakes one where the cockerels have mobile phones

(one throws his away and I always think... he needs to get another phone, a duplicate simcard or change his number, its a lot of hassle.......then my OH reminds me that its a cartoon advert  )

There was an insurance ad a while back with loads of buff orps 'chickening' a call centre. I tried to work out how they did it and came to the conclusion that they were all the same chicken, but CGIed.

There's the unfortunate chicken in 'Withnail and I', which stands on the kitchen table and tries to make friends with Withnail. I read that it was the actual chicken which a member of the crew had killed and plucked, that they later sat in the oven.

I read that too in Richard E Grant's film diaries "With Nails". So much for "no animals were harmed during the making of this film"! :(
