Although our flock of hens has been 7 since we got the Araucanas last July, they only starting laying last month.

 

I must say, it was a (pleasant) shock to come home from a day out and find 7 multi-coloured eggs all in the nestbox and a broody Squib trying to flatten herself over all of them! :shock::D

 

Needless to say, Squib is celebrating her and Muggle's anniversary in the broody cage today. :roll: I can't believe we've had the Silkies a year already and that Scully (our surviving Omlet original) celebrates 2 years with us on 31st. :dance:
