Old Speckled Hen
Does anybody know whether you can legally shoot nesting rooks on your own property? This is what my neighbour is doing. The poor birds!! It's only one pair, an overspill from a neighbouring rookery but each shot disturbs all the birds. The females are already sitting on eggs. Geoid
I think it is illegal, if he does not have a license,
bronze
If they've got the correct paperwork then I don't think they're doing anything wrong. Theres no hunting season that I know of though I'm no sure about if theyre nesting
Guest
I'd ring the RSPB and ask them
