Lesley Posted April 6, 2009 Share Posted April 6, 2009 Hi Michelle Most of the books on Ducks mention 'pinioning' which entails removing the flight feathers completely as they emerge but others have said that you can clip the flight feathers in the same way as you do with chickens. Wait until they are fully feathered - which I think will be a few more weeks for yours - and then cut them in just the same way as for hens.
