Hi, Can anyone advise where we can get a Fenton Blue from in the Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire area. We want one or knowing how Chicken looking goes we will more than likely come back with two.

Hi helenp I got 2 Fenton Blues yesterday from the 'Chicken Garden' in Staffs, they are only 10 weeks old, Jeanette at the chicken garden is lovely, she has lots of Fentons at the moment. She is trying to recover after having about 100 of her hens stolen including 40 pure breeds. We had 3 girls from her last September and another 3 yesterday.

 

Good luck, my Fentons have funny little tufts on their heads and we are looking forward to blue eggs in Summer.

I have 4 Fenton Blues and they are super layers. The all started off laying greenish eggs, but now three of them lay blue.

 

They are fairly skittish and zoom about considerably but have fitted into the flock well.

Thanks, we contacted the Chicken Garden & was advised they will be ready in 4 -5 weeksl as only 10 weeks old.. It is my dear hubby who wants blue shelled eggs Will they go ok with 2 1 year old goldlines?
