ChickenJo
I know that quite a few people have had issues with re-homing from the RSPCA, so would like to pick your brains if poss. We're looking for a new dog to join Gracie and Ive seen a couple of possibles in RSPCA shelters. My concern is how honest / knowledgable they will be concering their suitabliity and background (not very judging by some of the previous posts!!) We're pretty experienced so should I just trust my own gut instincts when I go to see them? If things dont work out then i know we can return the dog, but thats not the point as it will mess the poor little thing up even more. any thoughts? thanksx
Karen & co.
Tricky one I am tending to think if you already have a dog, then you pretty much know what you are looking for If you find the right one for you then it doesn't matter where you get it from, it will have a lovely new home with people who care and know what they are taking on with a dog Fingers crossed you find Gracie some company Karen x
Guest
I got my little Molly form the RSPCA and she's a joy, if you're knowledgable about dogs then when you go, I'd quiz them thoroughly and ask them for the vet to asses the dog thoroughly and see what they say. The little pupsters need homes so please don't be put off by the RSPCA's reputation. let us know how you get on xxx
