A "must see" film

Recommended Posts

I love daytime movie-going. We have a great 80-seat all digital cinema up the road which shows quite a few foreign films and the more art-housey ones as well as the occasional blockbuster.

I don't want to spoil things, but in brief, Alex has issues. He is in a car accident and ends up at Lynda's house. She is a high-functioning autistic woman in a snowy Canadian town. It is about the bond that grows between them and the different ways in which they deal with tragedy.

I read the book - Children of Men - several years ago. It is definitely thought-provoking and given the circumstances (barren women) the consequence of finding a fertile woman is believable. I'#d go to see it out of interest.
