Nature Chick
Hi there It has been three weeks now since Hattie and Mildred arrived and over the weekend peace has finally descended - I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Red sunbathing with them very proud! So they are together all day now free-ranging and very happy although Red occaisionally escorts them out of the eglu run! The only thing left now is the sleeping arrangements, Red is in the eglu but the little ones are still going to the old wooden house at bedtime - I desperately want them to move in to the eglu as I had forgotten just how annoying wooden houses are to clean!! Does anyone have any suggestions on how I cna speed up this process or is it a case of waiting it out? Thank you
ClaireG
When they are getting sleepy try popping them into the eglu.
BeckyBoo
Yup, just put them in and take away the old sleeping arrangements. That's what I've always done, if they've been around each other for 3 weeks and they're sunbathing together you should be alright. I've always found night times are peaceful, it's when they're confined during the day that any problems become apparent. Good luck, hope peace continues BeckyBoo
