I've just sown some for my cats and was just pondering this thought. Also, read on the self sufficent forum that someones chooks eat cress. Does anyone elses eat cress? The nice man on the market sold me a tray full for 50p the other day Not sure about cat grass........my cats loved it when I grew it last year but is does get quite long so maybe cause problems with the chooks crop????
