cluckynikki
Hello everyone... I am still very new to all this as I have only had my first hens for two days. Spent all afternoon watching them enjoying the sunshine this afternoon. Tilly and Coffee are in a part of my garden which has a tree. The blossom is just about to open but then it will only be a matter of days before it ends up on the ground. Is it ok for my girls to eat? I'm not sure what type of tree it is, but we are on a housing estate and at the moment it has new brown leaves and a pink blossom. Thanks in advance. Daphne
that sounds like it could be a cherry tree. No need to panic! Only the dimmest of my hens thinks that cherry blossom is good to eat but its not harmed her at all
MedusA
Mine love it and it's never harmed them. Don't worry.

Henhathnofury
Mine eat it too..they particularly love anything white. One of the funniest things I have ever seen is four daft hens trying to eat hailstones as fast as they fell from the sky.....
