Cleaning eggs

The consensus seems to be:

Don't clean your eggs unless really mucky

They will keep for 3 weeks on the kitchen worktop

A lot of people use the famous egg skelter for storage

Thanks for that. I am doing everything right then. I am always a bit concerned when I give eggs away and they are a bit mucky.

Also my daughter is pregnant and I was worried about her having "unclean "eggs but as I originally thought, it would be more harmful to wash them.
