The day my cube arrived I put them in it. They had to be put to bed the first night (they had come down the ladder put didn't know how to get back up). The next morning I had to encourage them out with mixed corn (one was sitting in the doorway making a lot of noise at 6.30 am). From then on they were totally fine and getting in and out without a problem.

I have kept my Eglu with the new hens in until they are big enough, then I will swap around and get the youngsters use to the cube before putting the oldies back in the cube with them.
