*mummy_hen*
...That people use on the floor of their runs to help combat chickeny smells, it is some sort of powder but the name has escaped me. Also, would this be suitable to use on gravel? Our chicken run never seems to smell as i change the bark every month or so, but we gravelled the majority of our garden a couple of months ago and in the areas they spend a lot of time i occassionally smell a whiff. I hose it down each night but wondered if i could use the powder as well to help keep it fresh!! Also, where is the best place to buy it, is it available online or would somewhere such as Countrywide sell it? Thanks.
Redwing
Is it Stalosan F you are thinking of? its a pink powder in a red tub. I don't see why you couldnt use it on gravel I got mine from CWG (not sure if thats the same thing as Countrywide) it cost about £16 and will last ages You can get it on line but as it is so heavy the postage is often steep
