craftyhunnypie
Yes I've been invited to one of those Jamie Oliver parties. I remember someone on here went one - any good? What sort of nice good value thing would be good to buy without spending a fortune? Personally I prefer pampered chef & would have spent a bomb at one of those. Do they cook something at these Jamie parties? Emma.x
bluekarin
http://club.omlet.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=41163&hilit=Jamie+Oliver+party I thought I'd seen it mentioned a while ago. Be warned and armed with your purse I think.
craftyhunnypie
Looked online & I like the mixing bowls. What I really need is a pampered chef deep pie dish though. Emma.x

craftyhunnypie
Well yes obviously - but no one has any pampered chef ones & I'm not playing hostess! I'd sooner just buy online - as you can nowadays! To be honest - I'm wondering how this Jamie lark will go. Emma.x
bluekarin
I went to one a few years ago - one of my neighbours held it. Not the best evening I have ever spent and couldn't really get out of it as I live across the road. But I did get a few things; some good (a small rectangular baking dish, which I got for free, very scratchy surface which made me shiver, but I broke it I was gutted as it did fab sausages) and some bad (orange peeler thing, glass jug (which is a good size but drips everywhere and the measurements aren't very accurate) cheese grater and a kids knife). I think it would be good fun to give the J.O one a go. You don't have to buy. . . . . well, maybe just a egg cup
