4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

Hi There,

Have got a plus a 1 metre extension on order from Omlet, and am just wondering how mobile this is going to be to move around my Garden. I hoping to have 3 hens that will spend most of the time in the eglu,(but when I am home around and weather permitting will let them free in the garden). I am not that garden proud, but hope that by moving it daily the damage will be relatively slight?? During the winter when the grass is not growing I am planning on woodchipping an area. Does the extension make it harder to move?

It's not any more difficult than the standard run. You just need a person at each end .

 

The annoying thing is if you weigh down the skirt on the run to prevent anything digging in, you have to remove the slabs or whatever each time you want to move it .
