Large whole chickens freshly cooked from Tesco's hot deli will be reduced from £4.19 to £2 from this coming Wednesday.

These deals lasts until 3/5 and will be nationwide.

 

 

How can you buy a LARGE cooked chicken for £2-00 that is ready to eat???????

 

Our farmers must nearly be giving them to Tesco.

 

I don't care what anyone says, the welfare of these poor birds MUST be dire.

 

My worry is that other supermarkets will follow suit.

 

I thought that HFW & JO had made some in-roads with Tesco regarding battery hens,

but it would appear that they were just paying lip service.

Its a disgrace! I have stopped shopping at Tesco because of their chicken welfare (and that was before I got my girls). It makes me want to cry.

 

I couldn't morally buy a chicken like that, I'd look at my girls and know that that was a life that suffered when it could have had the potential to have a good and happy life like my 4 darlings.

I've stopped shopping at Tesco too because of their attitude on the welfare of chickens.
