Leicester_H Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 Just half watching 'Come Dine With me' on some free view channel to hear that Rowland Rivron was serving Lucky Chicken's eggs .... So watched more intently only to see ONE chicken in a nice house. Apparently he had 5 but forgot to lock them in and a fox got them all except this one - hence its name. OK anyone can make a mistake, but I would be mortified if I did that - he didn't seem concerned and didn't seem to know that he 'shouldn't' keep one on its own. When he went to egg box, there were THREE freshly (??) laid eggs - so I guess he doesn't check that often ?? It may be a very old repeat so not worth following up (could try to find an email for him) - just made me sad to think of loney chicken - Chicken did look OK though. Martin B Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 Have seen this episode before. I think the eggs were placed there for the tv, he needed 3 eggs and voila they were there.
