Guest
http://www.carolinecrockeroriginals.co.uk/sheldon_pages/handy_hints_for_raising_duckling.htm http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=TNnf6FbDWZ8C&pg=PA191&lpg=PA191&dq=ducklings+mixed+corn&source=bl&ots=jH015ttY_G&sig=N8yesCXckpTVOTtd012BZOoiMvE&hl=en&ei=Xcb-Sfe6IcrMjAeAoPivAw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=2 and ring the RSPB/RSPCA to see if they can point you in the direction of a local sanctuary who might be able to take it off your hands. I'd keep it warm, make sure it has water and try giving it some mash/pellets or mixed corn. Have you got any chick crumbs? Guest
Hi just posted you a response What a shame it was not left as its mother may have been around or is it the motorway??Why was it removed? Depends how big but I expect it is small?? Any pic ?? to age it..? I just think its going to be small Treat it like a chicken foodwise but if you try to unite it with other mallards ducklings but wont be accepted by her. She will kill it See if you can find its mother if possible??? indie
