Prince Charles, Daniel Craig and saving the rainforests

Recommended Posts

Ok, so it's a great idea and awareness raiser in theory, but Charles is a bit droney for three of the five minutes of video.

Then the celebs kick in. Talking to a pretend frog. Is it me or does Pele look like Lenny Henry these days? I cannot stop watching the bit with Wills and Harry. It's cringeworthy. I love those boys in theory, I think they have a lot of dignity given all the rubbish in their lives, but the way they sound like they're trying to be street. Awwwwk.

What do you reckon? Youtube link in the right-hand corner.

I thought that Pele was Lenny Henry too!!

Not sure what to comment about this. It is a worthy cause and good to see people trying to make a difference.

I suppose Lily Allen must be doing something if we are all more willing to comment on her than on an issue like this!

It IS a worthy cause and it would be great to see something being done

BUT

When I saw this my first thought was the Charles would do much better putting himself forward supporting a cause CLOSER to home. I'm not sure what but at the moment there are a lot of people struggling financially in his country, many getting their homes repossessed etc and I think that he could do a lot better in the public eye addressing a home based cause. No idea what but I'm sure him and his advisors could come up with something.
