splodge88 Posted May 8, 2009 Share Posted May 8, 2009 Our chicken has been sat on hte nest for most of the day. Somehow or other, hte other 2 have also managed to lay eggs there. We pushed/poked her with an oven glove till she got off. We then removed the 3 eggs. She went and did a massive poo had a nice drink & a lot of oats, before going straight back to the nest. Is she broody? Or might she be ill? When she was outside she was walking alright & she hasn't been bad recently. When we poked her she made a few cross sounds but otherwise she's been normal.
