ali-s
Can anyone explain what this is (Fred ) we are having problems getting on to the internet, sometimes for days. when this happens the message" DSL connection is not working" comes up, and something to do with speedtouch. I know very little about computers We have a wireless router box which Andy has tried fiddling with (switching it off for a while is his favourite) Please do not ask me to do anything with the router box as it is up in the attic at the back, and there are things up there that make scratching noises in the night Andy is the attic man Thanks If I do not reply for a while you will know why
Geoid
Who is your ISP (internet service provider) and what brand is your router? I am assuming speedtouch. How do you connect to the web? Through wireless or cable?
ali-s
Hi fred We are with AOL not my choice . I think the router is Netgear, I can't be 100% sure without climbing the ladder and going into the attic . we are wireless, yes definately as I am sat in the garden with the laptop. Geoid
Did you use to connect through a USB modem?
