Henhathnofury
Two of my girls are under the weather - one laying softies and both with raised temperatures. I really hate antibiotics, both the human and animal varieties - but it seemed the only option as they were not getting better naturally. Every day I have to give them a tablet twice a day, a pink one that is broken into four and hidden in food. I have tried bread, grapes, raisins and tomatoes. My Pepperpot scoffs anything but my Gingernut Ranger has learnt to prise out the pink bits and then flounce away after eating the rest, leaving the hated tablets in four untouched pieces on the floor. It is becoming a battle of wills and she is the stubbornest, craziest girl..... ....I love her to bits....
Cinnamon
How about crushing it ,mixing it with water & syringing it into her beak? I have done that in the past with various antibiotics & worm treatments, but I must say that the antibiotics I usually get from my vet is in liqued form anyhow
Ain't Nobody Here
Sounds like my dog when we give him anti-car sickness tablets . Lovely bit of ham with a tablet wrapped up in it. Ham devoured, tablet spat out .
