quickcluck Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 I've read bit about it on other forums for a depluming mite...... you dunk them in a bath of it along with some anti flea shampoo and apparently it does the trick! SilverC Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 I have horses, and use Pig Oil mixed with flowers of Sulphur (powder form) for a skin condition called Mud Fever, but it is often used on the feathers of Heavyweight horses for lice. Whenever one of her chickens had anything wrong, she'd pop it in a paper bag with sulphur, and give it a good shake. We always reckoned that the chicken would fake feeling better in order to avoid a repeat treatment. Incidentally, this was about 70 years ago!
