4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

we have had to resort to putting beak rings on our 4 chooks to prevent 3 of them pecking Chalky, she now has a massive hole in her side.

 

However they are still pecking her and we cant see how.

 

Does the ring go in the top or bottom hole, we have them in the bottom could this be the reason why?

 

We have used purple spray to cover up the wound, but have also now seperated her.
