Anyway - he is busy in his walk in chicken shed, making a broody coop / area under the balcony. Bless him - he is sawing away & building frames with special mesh on. Powdering with red mite powder etc. He really loves his chooks. Dusty has gone off being broody & is out playing. Fanny is pretending to be broody, with no eggs under her. But Marlene is sitting tight. She was getting off for food, water & poos - but not today. So hubby has just lifted her off for a few mins. There are 5 eggs under her - due either this week I think, could be next week. We can't remember when she started sitting. Going to candle the eggs after, as we are not even certain there is anything going on. I'll take a photo of the broody coop when finished.
