CALNICK
we have recently purchase a new chicken house and had to make a run for the girls, we designed the roof so that it hinged down the middle for ease when we want to open the pop hole etc. However with all this horrible rain we have used a tarpaulin to keep the girls dry, however we have to keep going out every so often to drain empty the tarpaulin. Can anyone please suggest something else to use, the roof is totally flat. As always any comments gratefully recieved Calnick

peggotty
We have a piece of tarpaulin stapled over one end of our rabbit run and my husband has nailed a raised length of wood on top the wooden frame and below the tarpaulin to give it a pitched effect down the middle (hope I have explained this clearly enough - I can't get my head round the photo thing despite having read the helpful instructions many times...) It solves most of the puddling water effect although due to the cat using it as a hammock it is a bit baggy on one side!
