as you will see from the table on this website Crickets are the low fat alternative to meal worms!

I was wondering how many mealworms or crickets is enough/too many to be feeding. I plan to feed them some sort of live food on the days they are not free-ranging, as much for stimulation as for feeding. A quail website suggests, mealworms, 6 a day for quail maximum. but I think quail actually eat a lot more protein than chickens despite their tiny size.
