I grew up with a real phobia of dentists, however I am happy to say that I am now totally free of that - just as well, as I've needed a lot of work over the years. I generally consider a visit to the dentist is a happy experience, my dentist is lovely and because I never need anything doing these days, I don't lie there anxiously waiting for him to pronounce judgement! Cleaning's improved a lot since I was a kid though - electric toothbrushes, dental floss and teepee brushes have made life much easier. kitbag Posted May 22, 2009 Share Posted May 22, 2009 I hate the dentist. I have always had very very overcrowded teeth, and have had a brace on for a year now. He always tells me off for my cleaning - but it was always so hard with such wonky teeth!
