moochoo
When the girls' combs and wattles get bigger and redder and they start to crouch to the ground when you get close you'll be about a week away from your first egg. Usually they'll be around 22-24 weeks old. I'm afraid patience is required as they are often only just point of lay when you get them from Omlet with about 16-18 weeks. Guest
my 2 from omlet were 19 weeks and it was about 24 weeks they started laying. Their combs just suddenly started sprouting faster and then I didnt know what crouching was. Mine started a couple of days after crouching(after the forum explained what crouching was) and no looking back! It will happen, first egg was tiny but a bonus double yolker indie
