SeasideChick
I have 4 chickens. 3 seem fine but one is definitely not fine. She appeared to start to go broody about a week ago - as she did last year but it only lasted a couple of days. Since then she hasn't laid an egg. She is VERY lethargic, lies down a lot, has had watery diarrhoea, isn't eating but seems very thirsty. She has white spots on her ears - I don't know if it's relevant. This morning we thought she had died as she was lying with her legs splayed out but then she got up and went for a shuffle around her pen. Every now and then I think she's improving ... and then she seems to get worse again. Tail feathers are down and she takes herself off to bed each night at around 6pm - as opposed to 9pm for the others. Has anyone got any ideas what could be wrong? She's been wormed, she's having apple cider vinegar in her water and I can't see any mites. Her comb is still red. Thanks a lot.
Guest
I think you should take her to the vets.
Egluntyne
I agree. What did you worm her with as a matter of interest?
SeasideChick
I wormed her with flubenvet .... a dash on half a grape! I have used Verm-X in the past too. Thanks for replies!
