beckyfitz
We are now the proud owners of 2 White Campbells, 2 weeks old on Saturday. Quite happy brooding in my home-made box, eating & drinking from recycle food trays at the moment. I have ordered a house & run which should be arriving today. They are quite big (can't believe how quickly they grow!) and am planning on leaving them in the outside run with access to indoor house from next week during the day time, & bring them in at night providing the weather is reasonably warm - do you think this will be ok? Around what age do you think they will be ok to sleep outside (shut in the house, of course)? And what sort of feeders/drinkers do fully grown ducks need? They will have access to a pool each day for swimming outside the run. Tnaks, Becky x
Guest
HI Sounds like you are going to be busy, depends what the weather is like but just see if its warm during the day that will be great they will enjoy being out etc The feeders I had a tray (galvanised small trough) and a bowl they cant knock over for water. They are extremely messy and if you are giving them a pool they will drink this too, the filthier the better! I did have a galvanised waterer but they do just mess it up..bowl may be better? Any food bowls they cant tip up as they will stand in it/mess in it good luck indie
