fluffyfeet
Hi All I'm awful at remembering owners names - much better with chickens though. I would love to know if Ella and her healing pants have made a full recovery - I think of her every day as I have her picture as my screensaver both at work and at home - always makes me smile. chelsea
Aww bless Dawn - how nice of you to think about my Ella. Ella is fighting fit thankyou, probably due to her marvellous healing pants Still top chook, gobby, loud and greedy! We keep her bum covered (where the stitches were) with some surgical bandage which she takes no notice of. The vet said the rupture may happen again and if it does he will put a permanent stitch in, but touch wood she has been fine. I think its funny you have her as your screen saver.....she would be horrified if she knew!
fluffyfeet
Showed my mom Ella's story - (her dad kept chickens in a disused brewhouse when she was young) - and she fell in love with her too. The picture is the one with the blue snail plant pot in the background - Ella has a barred hen to her left and looks like she is thinking "Dontcha wish that you had some pants like me, don't cha!"
